CSM was featured in Street & Smith's Sports Business Journal in the article Riding to the Crossroads: Rodeo tries to protect its traditions while changing with the times by Greg Abel.

One new entity hoping to make an impact is a startup TV network called Cowboy Sports Media, which plans to debut on Nov. 30. It has lined up distribution on the Dish Network with hopes to make it to cable and DirecTV. The network's signature show will be called "Inside the Arena" - "SportsCenter" for Rodeo.
